LEWISTON – A funeral Mass for Ernest Louis Charest was celebrated Thursday, Sept. 14, at Holy Family Church after prayers at the Pinette Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard celebrated the Mass and Deacon John Brennan recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military Honors from the U.S. Navy played taps and presented our country’s flag to Mr. Charest’s wife Fernande. A delegation from L.L. Bean was present at the Mass. The pallbearers were Matt, Ryan, Luke, Jeff, Jim and Paul Charest. A reception of fellowship was held at the Korn Haus Keller Restaurant following the committal prayers at the cemetery.
