“Our Opinion Matters,” the local access show begun last spring by two teachers with wigs, costumes and zero inhibitions, has been picked up by local access channels in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Minnesota.

Episode 9, new this month, is going places the show’s never gone before: the fictional resort of Willywack Acres in Washington County, “the largest nudist colony this side of the Mississippi.”

Think green screen, ample pixilation and some very sporting friends and family.

“It’s probably going to be one of our favorites,” said Corey Gagnier of Lewiston, half of “Our Opinion Matters.” “We just kind of did that as a shout-out to Washington County,” where they’ve been downloaded quite a bit.

The show, which runs on Great Falls TV at 10 p.m. Fridays, is a half-hour spoof of a television call-in show, with Gagnier and John Kenealy of Turner as hosts. They film their own commercials to interrupt the banter and take pride in ad-libbing. Past spots pushed a witch makeover service, Sinbad’s School of Exotic Dance and Ballet By Bo, with a former military instructor in spandex and a mullet (Gagnier) who flounces, wiggles and twirls.

With no budget and all-volunteer help, they’ve cast nearly all of their friends and family in episodes. Gagnier’s father made it into a commercial for Hillbilly Hair Removal, where a brave soul appears to get his back hair removed by duct tape. Kenealy cast his wife in the nudist colony spot.

“The clever thing about getting them on: They tell 20 of their friends, who are now going to watch,” Gagnier said.

The pair, who film mostly above Kenealy’s garage, say they have yet to be at a loss for gags or ideas.

“It sort of vomits out of us,” Kenealy said. “We’ve got already in our heads the next four episodes; it just keeps coming.”

They said they’ll keep at it until they’re asked to stop — or get an offer for the big time.

John Kenealy, of Turner, right, and Corey Gagnier, of Lewiston, show their signature move, which they do at the end of each episode of “Our Opinion Matters” on their “set” at Kenealy’s home. The second episode of the spoof call-in show airs tonight on Great Falls TV.
