Spaghetti supper

RUMFORD — A spaghetti and meatball supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Rumford Lodge of Elks 862. Cost is $7 each person.

The menu will consist of spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread and dessert. Takeouts are available. For more information, call Sandee Welch at 364-2548.

Reunion meeting

DIXFIELD — Members of the Rumford-Mexico Class of 1971 are invited to attend an organizational meeting for the celebration of the 40th reunion to be held in 2011.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the home of Yvonne Ames Hemingway, 31 Sugarloaf Ave. All are welcome with any ideas they would like to share for the reunion.

Soccer shoot

RUMFORD — The Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 will host a soccer shootout for children 13 and under at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Hosmer Field Complex. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

There will be a boys and girls division for each age category. Parents must accompany their child with a copy of their birth certificate. For more information, contact Debi Briggs at 364-2479 or Sandee Welch at 364-2548. First place winners will advance to the Central District Shootout.
