Repairs to the ski jump at Pettengill Park were made recently to prepare the structure for the coming winter season.
Edward Little High School ski coach Linwood S. (Zeke) Dwelley said new stress timbers were put on the jump trestle, and new boards were put in place where needed on the floor of the in-run. A new stairway, at the side of the in-run, was also installed and the guy wires supporting the jump were tightened.

Plans for a $1.2 million industrial subdivision in South Lewiston received preliminary approval from the Planning Board Tuesday night following a public hearing attended by a half-dozen neighborhood residents.
South Park, a 21-lot industrial park near Cottage and Goddard Roads, was unanimously approved by the board, and it will be finalized on Dec. 17.
Several residents turned out for the meeting, seeking additional information on how the park might affect them.
