LISBON — A  house on Route 196 was damaged by fire Wednesday evening. 

Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 7 p.m. It was unknown whether anyone was home at the time.

Traffic on Route 196, also known as Lisbon Road, was slowed to one lane and was diverted into the flea market parking lot across from the structure.
