Church supper

WILTON — A Wilton Ecumenical Church supper will take place beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. Luke’s Church on High Street. Lasagna, stuffed shells, breads, salads and desserts will be served, with donations going to WECO Outreach Projects in the Wilton community.

Genealogical society

WILTON — The Sandy River Valley Chapter of the Maine Genealogical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Wilton Historical Society House.

The large collection of Wilton records will be available for research and a tour of the house will be available for those who are interested. Anyone with an interest in genealogy is welcome to attend. For more information, call 645-2257.

Church concert

WILTON — Emery Thompson and Sammi Angel will perform in concert at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at the Wilton United Methodist Church. The concert will benefit the Wilton Food Pantry.

There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted. The church is located on Main Street.

Community breakfast

RANGELEY — The next ladies and community breakfast, with everyone invited to attend, will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Sweet Dreams.

Gospel concert

JAY — The Hyssongs will present a concert of their gospel music at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at the Bean’s Corner Baptist Church. In addition to performing throughout their home state of Maine, the family ensemble has also appeared in other parts of the United States and Canada.

The group, consisting of Dell and Susan Hyssong and their son Richard, has also been on television and radio and has recorded several CDs and videos. The church is located at the intersection of Routes 156 and 133.
