I’m writing in response to Bill Van Tassel’s letter, published March 11.

Really? Is he serious? I’m not sure what planet he’s living on, but I have watched four and one half years of an evil, hateful man, whose name I don’t even want to utter.

What he has tried to do to our American democracy is an absolute travesty. He couldn’t open his mouth without spewing out another lie. He alienated our allies, let criminals out of jail, did everything he could to perpetuate more riches for the rich, took money away from school lunch programs, added to the garbage in our air for refusing to support climate change, etc.

And Van Tassel blames this on the “indecency by uncivil and vengeful people”? He should probably be reading and investigating more about the reality of his attempts to destroy our democracy and become a dictator.
