Car hits pole, knocks out power around Orrington

ORRINGTON— Authorities say a car hit a utility pole, knocking out power to more than 1,000 customers around Orrington. Bangor Hydro says crews are working to replace the pole and restore service. They estimated power restoration to be completed Friday afternoon.
