Officials: New Vineyard woman died last year from blunt force injuries not related to submerged car

Collette Daggett’s husband died by suicide last month, the day police tried to serve him with a warrant for murder.

The Maine State Police sought 43-year-old Wilfred Daggett Jr. of New Vineyard in the death of his wife last year.

The 43-year-old mother of five was found dead on the shore of a pond Tuesday.

The woman who was found dead is Collette Daggett, 43, and her husband, who called for help, is Wilfred Daggett, 42.

A combination kids boutique and candy store has opened on Broadway.
