Farmington selectmen oppose paying for Franklin County river gauges
Franklin County Emergency Management Agency obtained a federal grant which requires a 25% local match to install gauges in the Sandy and Carrabassett rivers to monitor when water levels rise to assist with preparedness measures. Farmington selectmen asked why the county wasn’t providing the matching funds.
