At the Brettuns Pond Association annual meeting today, President Churchill Barton will ask for a committee to be formed to monitor the beach, pick up trash.

Selectpersons asked Administrative Assistant Aaron Miller to determine protocols used by towns with public beaches. They also agreed to have an outside company look at the paving done last November on Goding and Norlands roads.

Officials want the paving redone on Norlands and Goding roads, Pike Industries Inc. is proposing repaving only certain segments.
