Resident Theresa Sol is seeking three changes to the barking dog section of the ordinance. Animal Control Officer Richard Burton said the Sol’s complaints about barking dogs have been unsubstantiated.

The Board of Selectpersons proposes a 2023-24 budget of $1.96 million, an increase of $255,908 or 15.1% over the current spending plan, which does not include funds for a new truck for the highway department, nor county and school assessments.

Selectpersons also voted to extend the agreement to provide nonemergency fire service to Livermore Falls to March 31.

Amanda Wheeler, from Fayette, started Feb. 21 at $22 per hour.

Carrie Judd of Livermore will start Feb. 9 as administrative assistant to the selectpersons.
