Third-grade students in Robin Desjardins’ class at McMahon Elementary School in Lewiston held a recycling contest facilitated by the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council. Students made a large house from recyclable materials. LYAC provided them with certificates and T-shirts and the Lewiston Firefighters Association provided ice cream.
