Nearly 30 participants learned about specific protocols and methods to support and  protect directors, actors and stage management — as well as teachers, producers and company management — in the creation of authentic and powerful stories of intimacy on stage and screen.

Members are needed for the Planning Board, Board of Appeals, Board of Assessment Review, Orono-Veazie Water District Board of Trustees and the Tree Board.

The disrict could boost the long-sought redevelopment of Ayers Island.

The event will offer residents an opportunity to meet and ask questions of the candidates for municipal office for the town’s March 12 municipal elections.
