Body recovered from river in Westbrook

WESTBROOK (AP) — Police say a body has been recovered from the Presumpscot River in Westbrook. Capt. Michael Nugent said the police and fire departments responded to the Cumberland Street Bridge around 3:45 p.m. Monday and removed the body from the water. The death remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately released.
